MH-139 Fuselage Textures

MH-139 Fuselage Textures

Created the detailed textures for my team's MH-139 fuselage, utilizing multiple texture sets to achieve a high level of texel density. LiDAR scan data was used to bake the initial texture information, providing an accurate guide to build off.

This project also gave me the opportunity to expand my Substance Painter workflow by making extensive use of Mesh Maps. Because the team had modeled many of the smaller high-poly details, such as bolts and fasteners, Mesh Maps allowed me to quickly isolate and adjust their color, height, and wear independently. This made it easy to create accurate variation across thousands of small details while significantly speeding up the texturing process.

My primary modeling contributions included the helicopter's tail section (excluding the rotor assembly) and the "race car," the forward cover for the main rotor assembly.
